The Mentoring Program is a two-semester program in which Junior and Senior Biology and Zoology majors mentor Freshman and Sophomore Biology/Zoology students. Each mentor is matched with one student. The mentors provide leadership and guidance academically, socially, and personally. The program's intention is to provide a supportive, positive environment to help underclassmen succeed academically and personally as well as gain a sense of community at CSU. The program involves meeting individually with the mentor three times per semester and attending three group activities per semester. Group activities include speakers and community service.
