I use field experiments and modeling to study benthic algal ecology in freshwater streams. I am interested in the interactions among controlling variables such as herbivores, nutrients, and streamflow. As an I-WATER IGERT fellow, I am pursuing interdisciplinary research that can inform stream management and policy.
