About

  • Education:
  • Ph.D. in Microbiology (Colorado State University, 2011)
  • B.A. in Biology Education (Concordia College, 2004)

  • Research:
  • Although I am not presently doing any research here at CSU, my past laboratory-based research involved the investigation of immunotherapy- and immunization-based approaches to the prevention and treatment of insect-borne diseases (Leishmaniasis and La Crosse Encephalitis).  I have always been intrigued by the interplay between microbial pathogens and the immune system.
