Chris Funk, along with Sue Vandewoude from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and Kevin Crooks from the Warner College of Natural Resources, has been awarded a  $2 million grant to study diseases and pathogen transmission in pumas, from the Ecology of Infectious Diseases program from the National Science Foundation.   More details of the study can be found at CSU Today:
