I am evaluating oral plague vaccines and maternal antibody transfer in black-footed ferrets. This is a collaborative effort between Colorado Parks and Wildlife, USFWS National Black-footed Ferret Conservation Center, and CSU. I hope to find an effective, field-friendly vaccination strategy to successfully protect ferrets from plague.
