Welcome to the Department of Biology at Colorado State University! We are excited that you are considering pursuing your education here at Colorado State University! Here is helpful information to assist you in your decision:
The Department of Biology offers three Bachelor of Science degree programs: our students may major in Biological Science, Biological Science with a concentration in Botany, or Zoology.
Are you attending a Community College or local University and plan to transfer to Colorado State University? We have a great resource for you. Use ‘Transferology’ (transferology.com) along with the Degree Requirements Explanations to determine which classes transfer to CSU. Keep in mind that you will have to work with the Registrar’s Office if there is a question about transferred classes: http://registrar.colostate.edu/ When you take classes outside of CSU, it is your responsibility to make sure you are registered for the correct courses, and that they will transfer properly into the major.
Visiting the campus? Great! It’s important to experience the community that makes CSU such an incredible place to learn and live! First, please contact the Office of Admissions to schedule a Campus Tour – this is an integral part of learning about what CSU has to offer. http://admissions.colostate.edu/
If you are a not a current CSU student (high school student, transfer student) interested in learning more about the Biology Department at CSU, please contact the Undergraduate Coordinator, Reneka Hall, via email at Reneka.Hall@colostate.edu or phone at 970-491-3352. Please do this well in advance of your visit to ensure a time and date that works for you.
