The Department of Biology at Colorado State University offers MS and PhD degrees in Biological Science and a PSM degree in Zoo, Aquarium and Animal Shelter Management. In addition, many of our students and faculty participate in the interdisciplinary Graduate Degree Program in Ecology and the Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Program.
Our department includes faculty members and research professionals with diverse interests — we study everything from molecules to ecosystems, and we do both basic and applied work. We believe that exposure to a wide range of topics sparks creativity, producing integrative, multi-disciplinary thinkers with the breadth necessary to ask big questions.
INTERDISCIPLINARY GRADUATE PROGRAMS
Graduate students in the Department of Biology can participate in, and in some cases have their degrees conferred through, several interdisciplinary graduate programs. Here are links to these programs.
