The Department of Biology at Colorado State University, located in Fort Collins, CO, seeks to hire a full-time Research Proposal Coordinator to research and support the preparation of complex scientific research proposals to a wide variety of federal, state, industry, foundation, and other sponsors. Key responsibilities include proposal development, investigating the availability of funding programs, researching submission and compliance requirements, and developing proposal budgets, budget justifications, and other financial documentation.  This employee will serve as the department expert on proposal opportunities, guidelines and requirements.

 

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least three years of progressively complex research administration experience.  Experience with preparing and submitting scientific research proposals, creating budgets, and working in the Kuali Research Proposal system is highly desirable.  Complete applications must include a cover letter, a resume, and the names and contact information of at least three references.
