About
My name is Jo Ballard and I got my Bachelors of Science at CSU majoring in Zoology and minoring in Chemistry in 2026! I have previously interned at the Downtown Aquarium in Denver, as a wildlife rehabilitator for a nonprofit organization, and as a livestock animal caretaker here at CSU, but my ultimate career goals are to improve animal welfare in zoos and aquariums and work on educational outreach in these organizations! I am currently a PSM student studying Zoo, Aquarium and Animal Shelter Management and a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the LIFE103 labs.
