About

My research has three main pillars -- participatory science, pollinator interactions, and climate change. Through teacher implementation, secondary students will engage with a multi-day module through discussion and the developement of a scientific argument. Students willl work with a partcipatory-generated dataset showing phenological patterns of pollinator interactions reflecting climate change over time. I am interested to see how the engagement with this module has an impact on their motivation to pursue environemtnal civic engagement in the future. This study will benefit students as they gain climate and data literacy skills that align with the Colorado Academic Standards, as well as teachers who have trouble accessing climate change teaching resources.
