I joined the Professional Science Master’s program specializing in Zoo, Aquarium, and Animal Shelter Management after completed my B.S. in Marine Biology. Throughout my time at TAMUG, I developed an intrinsic passion for research that aids in wildlife conservation. I had the amazing privilege to intern at Texas Parks and Wildlife’s Sea Center Texas where I shadowed and worked with the biologists and hatchery technicians. During that time, I became more interested in learning about what it takes to ethically manage different species. My hope for this program is to continue to grow in the field of wildlife conservation and management while networking with fellow CSU graduate students, faculty, and other professionals in the field.
