My original career path was to become a software developer, which I was pursuing throughout school and in my undergraduate program. I never had the affinity for coding and maths, but I knew it would be worth it in the end. Yet, after many failings along the way, I had to switch to Graphic Design to graduate. This switch made me realize that it really was not too late to alter my path, and an enlightening whale watching experience in Boston in 2023 made me realize I wanted to use everything I have learned to help animals, my childhood passion. I have spent the past year volunteering at Central Zoo, in Kathmandu, trying my best to improve the living standards and care of a few animals I could help, which made me realize to increase my reach I needed a leadership role, a perfect reason for me to chose the MPS program in ZAASM, at CSU.
