About
Research: I research complex disease networks to develop prevention and management strategies that enhance biodefense efforts and yield significant public health and economic benefits.
I am a PhD candidate in Biological Sciences at Colorado State University (CSU) and a research fellow for the Department of Defense’s National Defense, Science, and Engineering Graduate program (NDSEG). I am also a fellow for the CSU Vice President for Research Office and an ambassador for CSU Ventures where I facilitate the transfer of cutting edge research to the commercial marketplace. I have a MS degree in Microbiology, Immunology, & Pathology from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at CSU. I also served as a Biologist at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Washington DC for 2.5 years, aiding in the research and development of vaccines and pharmaceutical therapeutics for infectious diseases.
