I originally set out in my bachelor's to be a veterinarian, but, along the way, I discovered a deeper passion for Behavior in Animal Shelters. I found that what truly drives me is helping animals overcome behavioral issues and helping find them the perfect home. Through this experience, I learned that both animals and people just need the time, space, and support to heal. Uncertain of where to further my education, I turned to one of my undergraduate professors for guidance. With their support, I enrolled in a Professional Science Master's specializing in Zoo, Aquarium, and Animal Shelters Management at CSU. Through this program, I aim to deepen my understanding of animal shelter behavior and management.
