I moved from Illinois to Colorado to join CSU's Zoology program and learn more about avian natural history, biology, and behavior. Throughout my time at CSU, I have had the opportunity to volunteer and intern for the Rocky Mountain Raptor program as well as intern with the National Aviary. After two years at the raptor center gaining valuable knowledge on avian behavior, enrichment, and training, I decided to join the AMP PSM in Zoo, Shelter, and Aquarium management. I hope with the newfound knowledge I learn through this program I will be able to aid a diversity of avian species under human care.
