I have two different Bachelor's degrees, and multiple university-sponsored certificates in canine cognition. While at the University of Delaware I focused a lot on public science education, and I have experience with science writing and museum collections. After graduation I have worked in various animal fields, from DE Fish and Wildlife to pet care, retail, boarding/grooming, and ultimately spent the last several years working in several different roles in vet medicine while I obtained my second degree online. I also volunteer as a webmaster for a dog rescue network, and have been a member of a foster-based rescue since 2017. I recently relocated, and had to leave my job and rescue positions, so looking forward I am excited for the opportunity to participate in the PSM program as the next step in my professional journey.
