About
Avery Schneider is a second year in the PSM program. She has worked with large felines at a GFAS accredited wildlife sanctuary and has worked in an AAHA accredited small animal veterinary clinic. She completed her capstone research at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo examining the behavioral effects of carcass feeding in Amur leopards. Avery is honored to serve as one of CAM the Ram's graduate student trainers. She volunteers for Northern Colorado Friends of Ferals and set up free vaccine clinics for cats in low income communities for her Honors Thesis. She is excited to expand her knowledge, acquire more technical skills, and learn from her peers as she completes this program.
