About
I am a PhD student in the Knapp lab and in the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology. My research primarily focuses on field experiments with precipitation manipulations – either simulating drought or additional rainfall. I am interested in the legacy effects (or the changes in ecosystem structure/functioning) of extreme precipitation events (drought, deluges, and extreme wet/dry years) and how these legacies vary under different climatic conditions and affect ecosystem recovery from disturbances like drought.
