About

My background is in biology and ecology.  I am particularly interested in plant ecology, community ecology, and population biology.  I thoroughly enjoy teaching, especially when students are intellectually engaged and curious.  When family life and professional demands allow, I spend time gardening, rock climbing, and telemark skiing. Courses:  Biology of Organisms (LIFE103), Fundamentals of Plant Biology (BZ104), Ecology (BZ320), Plant Ecology (BZ450)
